TEHRAN – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri left Tehran on Sunday morning to visit Algeria and Tunisia.

Salehi-Amiri is scheduled to sign several memorandums of understanding with Algerian cultural officials in the first leg of his trip.

He will then leave Algeria to attend the opening ceremony of a festival of Iranian films in the Tunisian capital of Tunis this week.

He is also planned to visit the Tunis International Book Fair, which opened on Friday and will run until April 2.
